pencil pouches
It's been gray and rainy here the past few days and it had left me completely unmotivated. Add to the stress that my upcoming craft fair is only a few weeks away and I've lost my sewing mojo. Perfect timing. Today the sun finally came out and I made these 3 pencil pouches. I used the tiniest of scraps and some linen from a thrifted skirt. Simple enough, but I figure baby steps will get me going.
This year I finally joined a slow pitch softball team and tomorrow is our first practice. I can't even tell you how excited I am to be playing again, albeit a little nervous that I'll completely suck! Plus, I've only ever played fastpitch softball, so I'm sure I'll have a lot to learn about waiting to hit the ball. In any case it'll be fun. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Your pencil pouches are so cute! Love the fabric you are using. Your weather sounds just like my weather here in Seattle.
super cute. Love them
so cute! i love these. your mojo will come back. it is nice to have some time off for a bit. you will do great.
These are lovely. I think I've already thought of a dozen different things I could fill them with. The quilting is too cute. Great way to use those little scraps you don't want to part with. I never throw any bits away.
very cute
Great pencil cases! I'm just glad we are sharing the booth because I am low on inventory too...
simple = good
Very cute pouches! I too was a fast pitch softball player! Slow pitch is HUGE where I live, but I was pitcher for fast pitch and a terrible hitter, so I don't bother playing slow pitch! Good luck with it though, I'm sure it'll be a fun experience!
Cute pouches!
Good luck with the softball.
These are wonderful. I love using the tinest scraps. I just hate to throw any of my beautiful fabric away!
Super cute pouches! I love how you did just the end in the log cabin design.
Wow! These are nice! Can you put them on Ebay?!
