collecting

I have been in love with Denyse Schmidt's Flea Market Fancy fabric since it first came out, though I had only bought a few pieces then. Recently I became obsessive in "collecting" some of this fabric, and in the past two weeks, have added these fabrics to my stash. They've just been sitting on my table, with me staring at them and occasionally petting them (what? you don't pet your fabric?). I can't bear to cut into them. I am missing a few fabrics from the collection that I'd really love to have, so if anyone has some to share, or a secret source I'd love to hear it. I might even send you something really nice in exchange ;)

Hi there! I don't have any of her fabrics but just wanted to say that stack is gorgeous. I have a really hard time using my more expensive faves too.

There is a shop in Michigan who has them and she is there today actually snowed in from a blizzard. What she does is she sends you the fabric you want and when you get it you send her a check with the shipping and total. She is super sweet!

Her number is (269) 637-0603

I pet the heck out of my fabric. I order it, get excited, wait, swear that I'm going to sew up a storm when it gets here, get it out of the mail, wash it, press it, fold it, pet it, and avoid cutting it at all costs for several days.

lol - yes, I do pet my fabric (if only mentally). I have a hard time cutting into fabric, too. I have only a few pieces of her stuff. I wish I had bought more in the beginning.

Petting fabric, an American Quilter's pastime.

Hi! I am a newbie to your blog...the store that I buy most of my fabric from has this line in their clearance room right now...5.00 a yard, I just bought two yards myself last week! I could always pick some up for you if you want, just pay me back for the fabric and shipping? No biggie!

How FUNNY! I have had a few prints for several months, but I have been positively OBSESSED the last few weeks. I have had 3 separate packages in the past week alone! *blush* I found some here for a very reasonable price: www.threadsoftime.com

Katie, I'll check my stash and scrap bag to see if I have anything you can use. :)

wow...look at those gorgeous fabrics! I'm a little bit envy to know there are so many beautiful printed design fabrics there. In my place is quite difficult for cotton.

I totally pet my fabric!

I've got some flea market fancy to share. I've got your aqua print in the coral. I've got some of the dot in brown. I've got some other yellows that you don't have. Seems I also have some of the squiggly lined stuff if you know what I'm talking about. Oh, I also have another aqua print. Let me know if you want any of them.
