May Blocks
This month for the Pieced Together Quilting Bee we are making two blocks. Colleen sent these gorgeous fabrics from the Anna Griffin Darcey line. She likes stripes, squares in squares, white spaces, so this is what I came up with. I really love this fabric. I think I might have to get some of my own.
Allison sent fabric to make this circle block using the drunkard's path pattern. I was a little nervous about sewing curves, even after making my doll quilt because it has to be a particular size. Anyway, it came out o.k. and only a few parts don't match up. Allison promises that she doesn't mind though, so it's all good.
Both of them are going to have great quilts! Check out the rest of the blocks in the flickr group.

The block is so great! This is so much fun : )
I'm super impressed with your curves! I'm SO scared of those.
I LOVE it! I can't even see where they don't match up, it looks way better than mine did that's for sure! I love it, thank you! -Allison
I love them - especially the first one's fabrics. I am also very impressed with all the curves in the doll quilt. I know your swap partner will love it.
