Happy Halloween

Well today is Isaiah's first Halloween and he is going to be a penguin. Yesterday we went to the picture people and had his picture taken with his costume on. As if I didn't feel like such a crazy mom already for putting him in a costume, one of the workers there said "hey, weren't you guys here not to long ago?" Gee, I felt like one of those super psycho moms. Anyway, the pictures turned out so cute and of course we had a really hard time deciding which ones to choose. It didn't make it any easier that John's mom was with me as she analyzes each one! I'll be sure to post the pictures when the send them to us via e-mail.

Tonight we'll be taking Isaiah trick-or-treating. I'm not quite sure how that will go, but at least maybe we can get some good candy and re-live our childhoods of candy trades! I think the last time I went trick-or-treating was when I was in high school and Amy DiTommaso and I decided to dress up as ghosts (how originial) and walk around the neighborhoods. Im pretty sure that we were definitely too old for that (we were at least 16) and got some mean looks from some of the candygivers (for lack of a better word).

anyway, here are some of my newest creations. They are a work in progress and I have totally perfected them yet. So, lucky you, I'll be selling them at a discount price of $10.00 until they look like something Martha would approve of. Comments/suggestions are welcome!
Well here they are:

I've entered the blog world....

Since I'm a stalker of Craftster.org (my new favorite favorite website, for all you crafting nerds), I've noticed that many people are marketing their businesses through blogs. Most of these blogs are so intriguing that I literally spend hours reading them. I just love listening to what people have to say, see what they do with their daily lives. It is just so fascintating to me. However, most of these people are such great writers and have so much to say. Me, on the other hand, not so great with words. This may be due to the fact that I spent just as many hours watching reality tv as I do reading other peoples blogs, coupled with the fact that my main social interaction everyday is with an 8 month old. I'm pretty sure my brain is deteriorating rapidly. So, needless to say, I don't want to here any comments on my grammar or spelling. Or that I have nothing important to say, as I will definitely not be discussing anything of major importance in the world. Although in my mind, the break-up of Reese and Ryan is rather devastating.

In any case, all these useless rambling has brought me to the real reason I have started this blog in the first place. I love to craft, sew, and just plan create things. Since I am a stay at home mom, I would like to have a small home business to call my own and I have decided to try to offer my goods to you!

Hopefully I can post pictures of things Im working on or have decided to sell. Maybe I can get your input, or not. If you've made it all the way through this uselessness.. well... good for you, and thank you too!
That's all for my first post and since I feel it needs a picture..... here's my little one with his ladies man look
